Specifying Prerequisites

Prerequisites are enforced when a user registers for a learning activity or is added as a participant. If the user registering for a learning activity meets the prerequisite requirement currently in force, registration is allowed to continue. If adding the user as a participant, you are prompted to confirm that they can have access to the learning activity regardless. Currently certifications are used as prerequisites.

  1. Choose the appropriate client or your own organization.

  2. Open the activity detail screen.

  3. Click Edit (below the activity name).

  4. From the Edit menu (top right corner), choose Prerequisites.
    You see a new screen, showing prerequisites associated with and available for the learning activity.

  5. Check each of the certifications and levels that are to be a prerequisite for this learning activity.

  6. Click Go back to summary.
    The selected prerequisites are shown in the details of the activity or events.
