When you grant a learning activity to a client, a copy of the activity (its items, structure, sequencing, and navigation) is created for the client. However, the items continue to point to the resources that were originally loaded, wherever they may reside. As a result, if the owner of the original content changes a resource, the resource changes for every client who has been granted access to that learning activity. If the owner does not want changes automatically propagated to such clients, the updated content needs to be loaded as a new learning activity.
