Changing a User's Password

Note: Users can recover a password on their own, as long as an email address is stored in their account.

  1. Choose the appropriate client or your own organization.

  2. Click Users (tab).
You see a list of the currently configured users.

  3. Click a user's name.
You see a summary of the user's profile, training plan and certifications.

  4. Click Change password.
You see the Change Password screen.

  5. If the user's profile does not include an email address, enter the new password (you will need to inform the user of the new password).
If the user's profile includes an email address, you can choose to either send an email message to the user prompting them to change their password themselves, or enter a new password (you will need to inform the user of the new password).

  6. Choose whether the user should be required to change their password when they login next. Typically, use this when setting the password to a known value for the user and then communicating it to them.

  7. Make your changes and click Confirm.
